Educational Structure

In the Czech Republic , children with a disability sometimes are integrated in normal schools, but offcourse there are also special schools for children with different disabilities. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports is a leading umbrella for governmental attention to PE at schools (including special needs education, including for sports gifted children), physical activities and sports for competitive sports.

Education for trainers/ teachers

At the Palacký University , Faculty of Physical Culture there is a special department of Adapted Physical Activity (APA). APA includes broad spectrum of age bracket, character and intensity of handicap and different sports. APA includes school APA, recreational kinetic activity and sport for people with handicap.
