Educational Structure

Concerning the education of children with a disability in schools it is important to note that the 16 states ("Länder") have to follow their particular state law. No federation law exists in the area of education. In some "Länder" children with a disability attend special schools, in other "Länder" inclusive education is being stipulated by law. Education for trainers/ teachers

Students at almost all universities in Germany can attend classes in APA, however, there is no specific degree in APA, but it is rather part or a specialisation of physical education/sport science studies in Germany .
